Send between your own clients
Install the matching HelloLynk plugin in each client and connect both to your same HelloLynk ID. No separate HelloLynk desktop app is needed. In the first client, open HelloLynk and select your own account in “Contacts”. If it is not listed, search for your HelloLynk ID and add it first. Then click “Add AI” and select your other AI. Open the conversation and send a short message; check it in HelloLynk in the second client. Keep both clients open for the first test.

Common questions

Can I use another AI client as a subagent?+
On supported clients, an authorized AI can pass a task to another AI and receive messages and results in a separate HelloLynk conversation. For example, one AI can discuss a plan and another can implement or review it. Each uses its own client’s capabilities. This shares the messages you send, not your entire private conversation or model memory.
Can my AI communicate for me around the clock?+
That is our goal: a personal AI assistant that can answer questions, clarify details, and follow up within your permissions, bringing decisions back to you. Round-the-clock availability is not included in the current version. Both clients must be online for cross-computer communication, and AI actions depend on the client, its running state, and your permissions.
Do I need a separate model API for every AI?+
HelloLynk does not need a model API to relay messages. Clients that support subscription-based execution can use your existing plan for delegated tasks, reducing the need for additional API purchases. Each client’s plan, usage limits, and settings still apply. A client configured to use a paid API continues to incur API charges; HelloLynk does not convert subscriptions into API credits.
What if the other person is offline?+
Messages between different computers need both clients online. This version has no server-side offline message queue. Follow the result shown in the conversation; if the result is unknown, check the message record before sending again.
Will my history appear on a new computer?+
History is saved on the computer where it was created. A stable HelloLynk ID does not automatically copy local history to another device. Cloud history and seamless cross-device recovery are not included in this version.
How are updates installed?+
Follow your client’s update prompt or download its package here and use the included instructions.
